Accommodation overview: With lovely views looking over a few trees towards Carbis Bay beach and the sea beyond, this spacious detached bungalow is set in a quiet residential cul-de-sac just one mile from the bustling seaside resort of St Ives and about a 15 minute walk down the hill to the sheltered sandy beach. Approached by a sloping driveway where there is parking for two cars, the bungalow is fronted by a colourful lawned garden with a small sunny patio area.
A short path leads to the entrance at the rear and a useful lobby area with a shower room W.C. and hand basin. A couple of steps lead up to an inner hallway and to one side there is a bright fully-fitted kitchen / breakfast room with a pine table and chairs and windows overlooking the mature rear garden. A very pleasant beamed living room has dining table and chairs arranged at one end of the room and comfortable seating next to the large picture window to fully appreciate the views of the sea and coastline and a French door which opens onto the front patio.
Leading off the hallway there are a bathroom with vanity basin, an adjacent cloakroom W.C. and three good sized, light and airy bedrooms. There is a twin bedded room and a master double bedroom at the front of the property with fine views to St Ives Bay from very large windows, the latter with a vanity unit, and a further twin bedroom with wash basin looks out over the well maintained rear garden. A garage houses the freezer and tumble dryer and there is also space available for the storage of beachgear. At the rear of the bungalow, a gently sloping path leads up to a raised terrace with patio furniture and a beautiful garden with a large lawn, apple tree and flower borders.
There are a few local shops, a pub and a supermarket within a ten minute walk and the town of St Ives has a wide variety of craft shops, galleries, restaurants, pubs and cafes. There are also boat trips from the harbour, the Tate Gallery situated on Porthmeor beach, a leisure centre with swimming pool and delightful coastal walks. An 18-hole golf course is available within the magnificent estate of Tregenna Castle nearby.
