Accommodation overview: Just 2 miles south of the cathedral city of Truro and a few minutes drive from the boating beach at Loe, this modern, semi detached double glazed property is set in a courtyard of 4 houses in the village of Playing Place, to one side of the main road between Truro and Falmouth.
Approached from the parking area where there is space for one large or two small cars, one step leads up to the glazed front door which opens into an entrance lobby with an understairs coats cupboard. Leading off the hall are a bright and sunny, pine fitted kitchen with a circular dining suite, and a comfortably furnished, light sitting room with leather seating and sliding doors that open to the rear paved patio.
In one corner of the lounge, carpeted stairs lead directly up to the first floor landing, a bathroom W.C. with hand basin, heated towel rail and shower over the bath, and two pleasant bedrooms. There is a double and one with pine 3ft bunk beds, both with built-in wardrobes and dressing tables. Pets and young children will require supervision outside as the small patio at the rear is not enclosed.
There is a local store/P.O. and telephone box 50 yards away and a choice of four good pubs offering food in the immediate vicinity, the closest just three quarters of a mile. A regular bus service operates to Truro, Falmouth and Helston. Kernewek offers a good base for walkers with woodland and creekside paths in abundance and there is also a coast to coast picturesque cycle trail nearby with bike hire.
The boating beach at Loe with watersports tuition and equipment hire is within a few minutes drive as is the King Harry Ferry providing a gateway to explore the delightful Roseland Peninsula. Trelissick Gardens, Killiow golf course with driving range and Foxhole riding stables are all close by and the nearest sandy beaches are at Falmouth, approximately 7 miles.
