Accommodation overview: Within 500 yards of the mediaeval castle and just a 10 minute walk from the stunning South West Coast Path, this modern semi-detached house is situated in the village of Tintagel within easy level walking distance of the village shops, restaurants and inns, and the many myths and legends of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.
Set in a private residential no-through road of five recently built properties, Sandpipers has been furnished to a high standard with a light and airy décor, double glazing and thermostatically controlled electric radiators in every room offering warm and comfortable year round accommodation. A small gentle slope leads up to the front door which opens to an entrance hall with coat pegs and an adjacent shower room W.C. with hand basin.
An inner glazed door leads into a bright and sunny sitting room with a laminate wood floor and comfortable furniture facing a living flame electric fire. To one side, an archway leads through to a well equipped kitchen/diner with a dining suite next to French Windows opening to the enclosed rear garden and a smartly fitted kitchen with beech effect shaker style units.
From the hallway, carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor landing, a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and three pleasantly light bedrooms. There is a 5ft double and a twin bedded room at the front, both with oblique glimpses of the sea, and a single bedroom overlooking the south facing rear gravelled garden with a wooden decking area which catches the morning sun.
There is parking for one car outside the property, any additional cars should be parked in the nearby pay and display car park. Storage space is available for bicycles and beach gear in the attached garage which also houses the freezer.
Tintagel Old Post Office, King Arthurs Great Halls and Tintagel Castle are all within a few minutes walk, and there is an abundance of circular walks locally including the coastal footpath with breathtaking scenery and the dramatic Rocky Valley. Trebarwith Strand, 3 miles, has a sandy beach with rock pools which is popular with families and surfers alike, and the picturesque NT harbour at Boscastle is also 3 miles. There is a golf club and leisure centre with swimming pool at Camelford 6 miles away and there are riding stables nearby.

Accommodation overview: Set in a private gated mews in the heart of Tintagel, this light and airy double glazed cottage is one of a small development tastefully converted from a historic 19th century hotel and bakery, just a short level walk from all the local attractions steeped in romantic Arthurian legend.
Tucked away in a quiet corner facing a pleasant stone flagged sunny courtyard, Honeycomb is ideally situated in secure grounds set back from the main street, yet it is within a five minute walk of the dramatic South West Coast Path and only a short drive from the wonderful surfing beaches of North Cornwall.
The front door opens from the central courtyard directly into a charming and spacious sitting room with comfortable lounge furniture and a warm rug on the slate flagstones. To one side an inner door leads through to a country style kitchen with pine fitted units, slate floor and a pine dining suite in the centre of the room, and from here, a stable door opens to a small sheltered patio area with rockery.
A carpeted staircase leads up in one corner of the lounge to the first floor landing, a family bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower over the bath and three attractive bedrooms with natural wooden floorboards. There is a master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite shower room W.C. and hand basin, a smaller double bedroom and a twin bedded room. A large gravelled car park at the rear has ample parking space for one car per property.
The village itself offers a wide selection of shops, restaurants and inns and Tintagel Castle famous for its myths and legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table is within easy walking distance. The sandy beaches of Trebarwith Strand, Bossiney Cove, Polzeath and Daymer Bay are a short drive away as are the picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac.
