Accommodation overview: With stunning views overlooking Rocky Valley and Bossiney Cove, this self-contained ground floor annexe is set midway along the coast road between Tintagel and Boscastle, less than 2 miles respectively, close to the entrance to St Nectans Glen in the tiny hamlet of Trethevy.
Offering light and spacious accommodation with breathtaking sea views from its elevated position, this is an ideal base for exploring spectacular cliff top walks, picturesque harbours and it also benefits from a regular local bus service.
Approached by a short unmade lane, a driveway slopes down to the shared parking area and from here a level path leads to the entrance at the rear which opens directly into a freshly decorated kitchen. A large, bright and sunny living room has comfortable lounge and dining furniture and patio doors opening to a delightful double glazed conservatory with casual seating and glorious views of the sea and coastline.
There is a good sized bedroom with a 5ft double positioned to make the most of the sea views, and to complete the accommodation, there is a recently upgraded shower room W.C. with hand basin. A large garden fronts the property on the seaward side and there is parking for one car and the use of a garage for storage of bikes and beach gear.
Boscastle has a picturesque harbour owned by the NT and Tintagel is home to the mediaeval Castle and King Arthurs Great Halls. Both villages have a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and can be reached on foot via the coastal path in about an hour or a short drive away. The nearest beach is Bossiney Cove, which has sand at low tide although reached via a steep walk.
Trebarwith Strand, good for surfing and with easier access, is about 15 minutes drive. This is good walking country with the coastal footpath and the dramatic Rocky Valley just a 5 minute walk away, as well as riding stables close by. A regular bus service operates to Wadebridge, Camelford and Bude, and both Bodmin Moor and The Camel Estuary are within a 30 minute drive.
